But, it’s also difficult for an entirely different reason -- it’s not easy to pull off. Meaning, baby furniture disposal actually takes a bit of work to accomplish. Though it might not seem this way, it will become abundantly obvious when you try to do it on your own.

Baby Furniture Disposal Transition

Okay, so the single biggest challenge for baby furniture disposal is just that. If the furniture is changeable, meaning it doesn’t become a toddler and/or daybed or “grow” with your child, you have a slight problem on your hands. Now, it could well be in good condition. It could be cute. But, that won’t matter much because new parents are often very picky parents.

Babies need so much stuff. But what do you do with it all when they outgrow everything? Throwing items away just means they will wind up in a landfill somewhere. So what baby gear can you recycle — and how? Turns out, there are a lot of baby accessories you can and should recycle instead of tossing them in the trash. And there are plenty of ways to recycle safely and easily. --Parents.com

If you put yourself in their shoes, you’ll quickly understand why. After all, would you rather buy new and take the hit to your wallet or buy something someone else already used? Even if that’s not part of the equation (which is most certainly is), then you also have to consider something else. Well, actually two things. One — is it now outdated? And two, — is it now or has it been on a recall list? If you answer “Yes” to either question, this doesn’t bode well.

San Carlos Baby Furniture Disposal Hacks You can Use

Now, all this isn’t to say you’re stuck with it for good. Or, that you have to resort to illegal dumping. Here are a few helpful suggestions for how to go about used baby furniture disposal:

  • Keep it as a hand-me-down. If you plan to grow your family, there’s nothing wrong with saving future expense. Plus, you already know how it performs and you trust it to work. So, keep it and use it again.
  • Donate it. You can also choose to donate it to a local church or women's shelter. Here again, you’ll have to first determine if it ever appears on a recall list. But, if it doesn’t, you can donate it and gain a small tax deduction.
  • Just give it away. You can also opt to give it away as a gift. Spread the word about it on social media and in your workplace.
  • Sell it. Of course, the first thing that likely comes to mind is to sell it. But, this can really be a serious challenge (for the reasons given above). However, that doesn’t mean it won’t work. You can try to sell it yourself or consign it.
